Opal, Gem Revival Earrings This pair of opals are a gift for Rich's wife. Once again, in keeping with less is more and to keep the opals front & center, I created a simple symmetrical design in Argentium (non-tarnishing) sterling silver wire. This is the second custom design created for Rich, using opals his grandmother purchased in Africa in the '30's. Next will be the set of opals for his daughter, Sara. . . .I love working with anything from gemstones to found objects & orphan jewelry pieces.
