Wedding Comb, Vintage Revival Hair Jewelry Susan had recently had me complete her grandmother's jet bead single earring into a set. She next brought in these two haircombs for me to create into a filigree beaded design that would bring in the colors of her dress. We selected from a variety of vintage beads from cats eye to milk glass & glass pearls, as well as a set of clip on filigree vintage earrings. I removed the original white milk glass from the earrings & replaced them w/ Swarovski crystal drops. The earring backings were removed, allowing me to wire the new earring design onto the center of the filigree wire base I created & eventually wove the bead design in & out of. This reminds me of the combs that crowned flamenco dancers. Susan wore this to a summer wedding in which this would be her crowning glory! . . .Please let me know if I can create something similar for you!!!
