Triple Goddess, Wolf in Garden, Vintage Revival Pendant
Jul 27 2011
Barbara knew my work from a dear friend who owns hundreds of my art jewelry pieces. She let me know what was important to her and asked that I create a pendant with certain colors in mind. The symbol of the Triple Goddess or Triple Moon represents the New Moon or Maiden, the Full Moon or Mother and the Waning moon or Crone. I began with two sterling Taxco Crecent Moons with abalone and in my search found a 1930's aurora borealis floral carnival glass button that would represent the Mother moon. These I wired together from behind. Next I attached a pewter wolf and antique rhinestone flowers which would act as its garden collar. A triplicate of eternity symbols backs the entire piece. This art jewelry piece measures approximately 4 x 2 inches.
