I love to bring vintage, found objects and seaglass to life. Whether it's a custom piece, something new that inspired me to create or something recently sold, I will bring to you a bit of a story about each.
Tina took advantage of my Wish Book. A few weeks later her husband & kids came in to fulfill that Wish. I'd written specifics about the necklace she fell in love with. That necklace had since sold, but I was able to reassure Tom, her husband, that I would create a one-of-a-kind Beach Gem necklace with argentium sterling as its wrap and Swarovski bi-cone crystals in Aqua & Zircon colors. I can't wait to show this to Jeff & their kids. Post created from this item
This Vintage Lace grows into the gold & rhinestone once-earrings as a vine longs for something beautiful to cling to. Its center floral & rhinestone once-pin is joined with once clip-on earrings in rectangle lavender glass, lustre pearl & glass flowers, and finally topped on each side with once-clip-ons in brilliant gold texture with triangle purple rhinestones. This one chockfull of lovelies is sold.

Just want to say hi. I won't be posting to the blog until next Tuesday. I'm on my way to L.A. to share my jewelry with the other coast. Until then, stay happy & thanks for visiting. Keep coming back for more!!!! Kariann
Kathy purchased this, one of my first Vintage Revivals, upon seeing it. She dared not chance seeing this one get away! I composed this art-to-wear piece out of brass filigree jewelry orpans, some brass micro chain & added Czechoslovakian aqua faceted crystals for contrast. Grace wears this piece when she is feeling Bohemian & Regal! . . . If you loved this piece, please contact Kariann to share your ideas. She will create another one-of-a-kind piece that meets your expectations, using found objects & gems that are similar to this piece. If I get home in time, sometimes I catch the sun setting over the Long Island Sound. And once it's dipped, the light show begins. Here is my representation of these wondrous moments . . . This brass Sailboat floats beneath a full moon that is a vintage '30s faceted aurora borealis crystal bead. Just after the sun has set, the hues along the horizon beckon with images in lavender, mauve & blue as represented by hand-cut & beveled stained glass here. The whimsical azure ocean stands on its side for a playful finish to Kariann's Vintage Mosaic creation. Float into this montage light of heart & free of mind!

Who wants to play? I do, I do! That is how I feel every day in my sandbox of vintage jewelry pieces and orphans that wait for me to discover and redefine them, as in these Peapod Vine Earrings. A husband & father just purchased this pair with two others for his wife and two daughters. Yippee for them! Pea pods growing on a playful vine, morph into this whimsical asymmetrical and balanced creation. Here are gold enameled wood beads, enameled metal leaf and more vintage from Kariann's orphan piles of found objects. Light & full of movement.
